DARECon 2025 is organised by the Naas Board Games Society ("we," "us," or "our"), a newly founded society based in Naas, Co. Kildare. You can contact us at: info@darecon.ie

2. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms apply both to membership of the Naas Board Games Society and participation in DARECon 2025.

By accessing and using this website, registering for DARECon 2025, or becoming a member of the Naas Board Games Society, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This includes your agreement to receive transactional emails as detailed in Section 5.5 below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Society Membership

Membership to the Naas Board Games Society is currently free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce membership fees in the future with appropriate notice to existing members. Membership benefits and obligations will be communicated separately to members.

4. Event Terms - DARECon 2025

4.1 Event Description

DARECon 2025 is a board games convention organised by the Naas Board Games Society, taking place on November 9, 2025, at the Osprey Hotel, Devoy Quarter, Naas West, Naas, Co. Kildare. Specific event details, including activities, duration, and included services will be defined and communicated to ticket holders in advance of the event.

4.2 Age Restrictions

Attendees must be 18 years or older. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event.

4.3 Tickets and Payment

Event admission requires a valid ticket. Ticket prices, terms of sale, refund policies, and cancellation terms will be clearly communicated during the ticket purchasing process and are incorporated into these terms by reference.

4.4 Event Conduct

All attendees must behave respectfully towards other participants, volunteers, and staff. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who engages in disruptive, inappropriate, or illegal behavior.

5. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our separate Privacy Policy which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with GDPR.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of the Naas Board Games Society or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, the Naas Board Games Society shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our events.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Event Changes and Cancellation

We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel DareCon 2025 due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to health emergencies, venue issues, or insufficient bookings. In case of cancellation, refund policies will be communicated to ticket holders.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of your services should first be addressed by contacting us at info@darecon.ie. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably through direct communication.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website and services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
